As many of our customers know, Spa Ventana al Mar has the designation of being a Medical Spa. But what does that mean for you?
First, the spa owner; Maria has training in therapeutic services that are considered to have medical value. Lymphatic drainage massage has several known medical benefits and is often prescribed by doctors for a variety of conditions. Although she has received advanced training, Maria does not offer lymphatic treatments, but she uses her knowledge and technique to enhance the benefits of the massages and facial treatments she offers.
Second, it means that Spa Ventana al Mar operates at the highest level of professionalism, training, and cleanliness that you will find in any day spa in the Rosarito area and has the recommendation of a local physician.
Lastly, the designation of Medical spa means that Spa Ventana al Mar is eligible for the Fast Pass Medical Tourism program. The program was created to stimulate medical tourism at the border and along the Baja coastline. Doctors, dentists, and medical spas are eligible to apply for the program.
The spa is approved to offer customers who purchase services and treatments*, a Fast Pass to the Medical Tourism lane when they are ready to cross back to the US. In general, the wait times here are reduced considerably.
*The pass is valid for 48 hours and is available to Spa Ventana al Mar to customers who spend $85 (+ IVA) or more in services and treatments.
